Making an Appointment
Because pain never sleeps, our phone lines are conveniently open 24/7 and you’ll be assisted by our customer service representatives. They will gather your basic information to get you into our system. In doing so, this will speed up the wait time when you arrive at the office for your appointment. Your insurance information will also be taken to ensure we are IN-NETWORK. To determine what insurance we do and don’t take, click here. Prior to your appointment, our staff will work on verifying your insurance so we can arrange your treatment plan accordingly and discuss any copays that you may have based on your coverage.
Please bring the following at your appointment :
Government-issued state photo ID (ex. license, passport, etc.)
Insurance card (if applicable)
If you’re a new patient, you are required to fill out some paper work when you arrive which you can also access the forms online to download and fill out prior to your appointment. If possible, bring in your government issued state-id (such as your license) and your insurance card so we can have it scanned and copied into your file. Your photo will also be taken for security purposes.
X-Ray, Exams, and Evaluations
At Center City Emergency Dentist, we strive to change the way you feel about going to the dentist. Our friendly staff are always ready to make sure you’re out of pain fast. Our beautiful office is located in Center City, Philadelphia on 1429 Walnut St on the 6th floor where you will be greeted by our wonderful front office staff who will check you in.
A dental assistant will then call you back to take your x-rays and the doctor will perform a visual exam where he will take a look at your teeth and any oral issues you have been experiencing. If you’re coming in from a different dental office, we accept any current x-rays you may have. We may take additional x-rays if necessary, to better customize your treatment plan as accurately as possible.
After your x-rays and exams, the doctor will further evaluate the problem area and discuss his findings and recommended the next steps in treating the problem area. At this time, you may ask the dentist any questions you may have.
One of our administrative staff will then present you a treatment plan and work with you to go over the treatments recommended by your dentist, insurance coverages, and your copays. Please note, no work will be done until you approve to do so through the treatment plan.
Scheduling Your Next Visit
When your appointment is complete, you will be taken to the check-out desk to schedule your next appointment and/or make any payments if necessary.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call us at ANYTIME as our phone-lines are conveniently open 24/7. A representative will answer your call and can answer any questions you may have or schedule you an appointment.
